Staff responsibilities

The New Business Consultant role requires a motivated, creative, results-oriented individual with a drive to further their career in the digital media industry and grow the Xelsion business. The role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, in the UK and globally, and securing the business with the support of the Media Consultant.

Summary of position

Xelsion works with advertisers and publishers directly, offering 4 core areas of digital media services:

  • Programmatic and biddable media trading across Display, Paid Social and Paid Search (SEM).
  • Analytics and data-driven attribution-modelling.
  • Creative production of high-impact, dynamic, cross-device compatible, HTML5 formats.
  • Consultancy and training on media strategy, data activation, vendor selection, technology integration and in-house resourcing
  • The New Business Consultant will spearhead Xelsion’s frontline sales. The post holder is responsible for building and managing the sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and promoting our key products and services to potential clients. To this end the New Business Consultant will contribute to the development and maintenance of marketing and promotional material, including Xelsion website content. The post holder must place a high priority on understanding client requirements in order to brief the Media Consultant to develop bespoke media plans and secure long-term, productive commercial relationships.

    The company has a digitally connected, geographically distributed team, which collaborates with the help of technology. Permanent desk space and the hub of operations is in a dynamic start up co-working environment in Farringdon, London but candidates should also be comfortable, motivated and happy working from home – or wherever they happen to be.
